The pharmacist in this position will provide oncology pharmacy services to the ambulatory infusion clinic patients. The primary responsibilities include developing a specialty disease center clinical pharmacy practice. In addition, the pharmacy specialist will precept oncology pharmacy residents and students. This position will be responsible for maintaining our continuing education certification and reviewing policies and procedures. Further, this pharmacist will work with the Center for Oncology Global Medicine. There will also be some limited responsibilities including: oversight of preparation, compounding and dispensing medications for clinic patients; optimizing drug therapy by identifying, resolving and preventing drug related problems, counseling patients and providing drug information. The pharmacist will participate in multidisciplinary clinic related projects. They will assist in providing clinical information to the providers and the day to day infusion workflow.

Job Qualifications

Pharm D or advanced pharmacy degree, Oncology experience and residency training required

Schedule

Monday through Friday variable day shifts.
